Promote Your Blog: How Do You Get More Readers To Your Blog?
More readers to your blog - something that every blogger wants to. Eventually blog with a goal, either private or business. And growth is a part of. Following a conversation with about 40 fellow twitters in # * blog below just talking a few considerations.
You readers, and readers ...

There are, if you just search on Google, plenty of websites that explain how you as soon as more online visitors. And if your business model includes generating revenue through clicks on ads, is "more" may be the only criterion.

For most bloggers is different. They want not just more visitors, but fun / serious / interested / involved / buying visitors. Using tricks makes for perhaps more traffic, but if that traffic immediately click away (a high "bounce rate, it is called, see this article) you have nothing.

The goal of this article is not only how you will ensure more visitors, but more quality visitors who may be new, regular readers.
How do visitors to my blog in?

To begin, it is important to realize that people in different ways on your blog can get inside. Regular readers are probably out of your existing network, social media, via e-mail newsletter, RSS feed, maybe typing them directly into your blog address. New readers will probably via search engines or referrals of other websites and blogs that link to your blog or an article you mention is called.

new visitors to your blog

It's easier than you think to see what works best for you, provided you have an analytics tool like Google Analytics installed. There you can sort by traffic source (traffic source), and then at the number of minutes that people have remained on your blog, the bounce rate, and how many pages they have viewed. You can assume that the longer people stay, the lower the bounce rate, and the more pages - the better. So you can really compare what medium the "best" yield visitors.

Which sources provide the visitors who visit most pages?

In this picture you can see that the sources that provided the most visitors, not the same as the sources that provided the visitors with the most viewed pages on my blog. The top 5 looks different.

Which visitors stayed the longest?

And when I select the sources that gave the visitors continued along, sees the top 5 again different. So it is useful to occasionally see where your traffic comes from, and above which traffic sources deliver most pages, or visit the longest stays.

You can also set goals (goals) to see who lands on a particular page - for example, a sales page, the page for more information or to ask about your services. There may come back completely different traffic sources out on top.

To get more visitors, it is useful to see what resources you bring the most visitors, and what sources the 'best' visitors as well (or not). Then you can then adjust your strategy.
All about the content

Ultimately it for each blog to the content. The content of your articles makes you want people to read, they come back, they take the trouble to respond, that they decide to follow you on social networks. And they, when you sell something, you are seriously considering.

But quality is also important for your findability in search engines like Google and Yahoo. Quality has a number of aspects:

You have a clear overarching topic for your blog. The common thread in your articles will help your readers understand what you stand for, what they can come back. But it also helps search engines understand how you have to place. For which search terms your blog is relevant.

You use the key words for your audience.

Your blog is easy to read and easy to navigate.

You write good articles. A good article does not perfectly written. However it must meet the needs of your target audience. Informative, entertaining, educational, engaging - whatever your signature. An article does not even have to be written! It may also include a video or an image.

How do you get relevant keywords?

The keywords that you use on your blog determine the terms on which new readers can find you. They perform a query in Google, and you would like between the first search results, right? There are two ways of targeted work with.

1. You have a specific target in mind and a specific target with your blog - you're looking at it the right keywords - you are consciously trying to build a position in

2. You go out of what is already there and build on this further. If you blog for a while and keeps the statistics, you will see that certain words you found in Google. That's a signal, especially if you look in the 'keywords' (ie, the people by typing in keywords into Google to your blog ended) the longest stick. Most pages.

Keywords for your blog this last method has worked well for me twice. At my last company I was to score well on "felt pads", which I coincidentally also sold ... [The truth to tell me that I really tricky occurred at this beautiful score into sales ...!]

And when I was in a few months blogging on this blog appeared in the statistics, I was mostly found to be "determined target. An eye opener that was, in fact, it got me on my current path. It made me realize that I know a lot about, determine your audience, and I also look like writing about. And advised about love. I am to continue to build more to write about.

And although I now not often write about that subject, still apparently enough to come back to me a position at Google to deliver.
Guest Blogging

When I look at my numbers, and I emphasize the experiences of others that come from the articles on other blogs that I put readers off the best quality. It does not have a blog with 10,000 visitors and to be relevant. More importantly, it is a blog which, although not competitive, but (part of) your group serves.

Guest blogging provides traffic

Guest Blogging is also just fun, it extends your network, and it is exciting to see how it will react by a different audience. Guest Blogging is often just a matter of offering. I also found these tips from renowned blogger Liz Strauss.
Write more

Some people swear by daily blogging as a way to get more readers, more to be found in the search engines, and clarity to visitors. Others say it does not matter. I believe both are true.

More writing for your blog

If you write every day, but without quality services that might help in the search engines but will have less interest to your readers to follow. Never write on the other side (I've noticed) is obviously not good. My ideal would be to write two articles a week, but depends on your audience, the expectations of your readers, your subject, your discipline, you write how easy and of course how much time you spend on new items.
